American Airlines is the first commercial Airline Company to have such a partnership where it is providing exclusive access to a music App through its complimentary Wi-Fi.
In a press statement Oliver Schusser, the Vice President of Apple Music said that for the majority of flyers listening to their favorite music while flying is as vital as packing their luggage. The partnership between Apple Music and American Airlines comes within a few months after the integration of Apple Music with Amazon Echo.
